As well as a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture, Ken Maher also has qualifications in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Studies.

Currently the Chairman of Hassell, a multi disciplinary international design practice engaged in a wide range of major projects, Ken is also a Visiting Professor of Architecture of the University of New South Wales, a Life Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute for Architects, Founding Board Member of the Green Building Council of Australia and Board Member of the UNSW Foundation.

He is a regular commentator on architectural, urban design and sustainability issues, and frequently presents his work at conferences and public lectures internationally.
