Ian Oelrichs is a landscape architect and urban designer based in Northern NSW. He is President of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and a founding member of the Australian Architecture Association.

Ian is passionate about regional development issues, in particular sustainable development and conservation projects. He devotes much of his time to projects such as improving the delivery of aid to third-world countries and the development of eco-lodges in Indonesia to help protect endangered wildlife. He also established the Nature Tourism Task Force to implement Australia’s first regional eco-tourism plan.
