DESIGN CONCEPT
Ithaca Views is one of 40 apartments within Ithaca Gardens, one of Harry Seidler’s earliest apartment buildings, completed in 1960.
The 2-bedroom apartment accommodates up to four people, and includes open living areas with a balcony and outdoor entertaining area overlooking Sydney Harbour.
With interiors by Millimetre Design, the open living spaces boast urban and broken harbour views of the surrounding area and includes contemporary marble dining table; leather 4 seater sofa, coffee table, coconut chair and ottoman - designed by Herman Miller. Paintings have been commissioned by notable Australian artists and decor boasts many indulgences.
The north facing aspect of the apartment makes the living spaces light filled throughout the day with sea breezes providing natural cross ventilation for the entire area.
The building’s foyer and entrance has been restored to its former splendour with security entrance.
ENVIRONMENTAL
The apartments were designed to be energy efficient, with natural light, sun shading, cross-ventilation and the apartment is heated by strong northern sun during winter.
